Originally I started the Shop In Chic blog on Blogspot over 2 years ago to fulfill my dream of creating a fashion publication. Unfortunately before my first year was up, a few events happened that made me really lose my track on life and it took a tole on my blog. I tried to move my blog in mid-2009 and revamp it up but technical difficulties came around and I lost everything(even though it wasn’t much at the time. You can check my old blog on Blogspot here

As for the new Shop In Chic? You’re reading it here! I still have a long way to go but I really hope I can make something of it soon. Right now its a slow progress, but its something that I really want to do, so I’m back at it! Why I Write

I love fashion, beauty, hair, and makeup. It only makes sense to write about what I love.

Lines I Love

Since I don’t really have a certain type of “style”, I’ll wear almost anything as long as it looks great! My favorite fashion lines include BCBG Max Azria, Betsey Johnson, Baby Phat, DKNY, Blumarine, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, DSquared, Roberto Cavalli, Alexander McQueen(RIP), Chanel, Christian Dior, Ella Moss, Diane von Furstenburg, Rebecca Taylor, Kenzo, Diesel, Marni, and many more.

Who are your style inspirations?

Since style is a personal thing, I think its a wise idea not to limit yourself to 1 or 2 style icons. Personally I don’t have a style icon but I do take cues from certain stars and certain looks.

What are your makeup must-haves?

I’ve got anything and everything. I like Benefit PosieTint, bareMinerals SPF 15 foundations, Cargo Coral Beach Blush, Mother Pucker Lip Gloss, Wet-N-Wild Liquid Eyeliner, and almost any fragrance. If anything, I’m a fragrance freak as I can’t count my current collection!
