I love cosmetics just as much as the next girl, but I always seem to gravitate towards natural and organic skincare products. Maybe this is why I am raving about three fabulous products from Reviva Labs!

My first review for Reviva, was actually a very brief blog post I did nearly a year ago for Shop In Chic. I was talking about why I used Reviva Labs Under-Eye Dark Circle Serum.

2- Reviva Labs Non-Chemical Light Skin Peel Not all exfoliant scrubs are harsh, this one certainly isn’t. Reviva Labs Non-Chemical Light Skin Peel looks, smells, and feels just like any other all natural scrub with its somewhat grainy texture. Whats great about this facial scrub is that a little bit goes a long way. Just apply this scrub to your face and leave it on for five minutes. You will know when it’s ready because it feels slightly tight on your skin. Remove with water to reveal radiant looking skin. According to the label you can apply this once a week.

3- Reviva Labs Makeup Primer Makeup and cosmetics last longer with a quality primer and this one certainly loves up to expectations. The bottle looks similar to the one for Dark Eye Circle Serum but its indeed a different skincare product. You can use this to prep your skin before a makeup application or you can wear it alone. I personally like the way this gives my normally parched skin a dewy glow, so its no wonder that I like to wear this without makeup.

What I really love about Reviva Labs skincare products are naturally good and they never test their products on animals. You can buy all the products feature features at the Reviva Labs online store.

Matte is so out. Glossy shine is in. I love a lip color that produces pure color and a lot of shine. I am not keen of dry lipsticks that just make your lips look cracked and crusty. Perhaps this is because I have extremely dry lips. Either way, lip gloss is one of my mandatory beauty essentials along with fragrance and eyeliner. Pencil Eyeliner

What: A solid stick of eyeliner that comes in the form of a pencil The Good: It good for beginners who want to introduce eyeliner into their lives The Bad: Most pencil eyeliners weren’t made with quality pigments and are hard to use Get the Look: Start off with neutral cream-colored eyeshadow and sweep it across your eyelids. Add a touch of shimmery slate gray shadow and blend from the inner corner of your lashline to your outer corner.Take pencil eyeliner and make a few dots across the lashline before using an eyeliner brush to softy merge the lines together. Liquid Eyeliner

What:Intense color in the form of liquid The Good: Its easy to create a smoky eye that really smolders The Bad: Its also easy to mess up and create the racoon effect Get The Look: Begin the look by covering your eyelids with deep brown eyeshadow, then covering your crease with a light shade of brown. Next, take your favorite eyeliner brush and dip it into the liquid liner. Starting from the inner corner of your lashline, softly sweep the brush across the corner to create a perfecty straight line. Take another(clean) eyeliner or eyeshadow brush and gently smudge the eyliner. Sweep a little dark eyeshadow over the smuged liner to complete the look and then sweep a few coats of black eyeliner onto both top and bottom lashes. The Bad: Fine and loose powders can easily go into your eyes and cause irritation Get The Look:Begin your look with a natural looking mineral eyeshadow in brown, gray, cream, or warm gold. Cover your eyelid with the mineral shadow and then select a darker shade of mineral liner and create a thin line. Add a top coat of brown or black mascara. Just because we’re well into January doesn’t mean we have to stop making resolutions to better ourselves. We’re constantly looking for new ways to reinvent everything from our image to career. But as long as we live there will always be room for more improvement. Think of the year 2011 as the year of improvement! Here are some smart makeup and beauty resolutions you can use.

1-Take excellent care of your skin. All the makeup in the world won’t cover up bad skin. Start your morning with a face wash, moisturizer, and treatment in necessary. Remember that most makeup will just clog your skin and make acne worse or it will just seep between fine lines and exaggerate them. Skincare is always first!

2- Break barriers and have fun. One of the most fun things about makeup is experimentation. Go ahead and take an afternoon off and play with your makeup! You will be surprised what you can create. Try glittery eyeliner, bronzing blush, bright pink lip pencil, or even false eyelashes.

3- Switch to minerals. Mineral makeup is natural and its better for your skin. There are dozens of amazing mineral makeup brands out there, but I personally love what bareMinerals foundations does for my skin as it smooths out my skin and makes it looked as if it was airbrushed to perfection. The thing here is to find a mineral foundation that works for you!

4- Don’t get stuck in a rut. You finally found what works for you and thats great–just don’t get stuck in a beauty rut. Mix and match different colors, wear liquid eyeliner, or bright red lipstick.

5- Look to the stars for inspiration. Who is your favorite pop star or Hollywood starlet? Imitate her beauty routines, makeup looks, and hairstyles. Don’t know where to start? Check out InStyle.com for inspiration.

7- Pamper your feet and hands. Perfectly manicure hands and feel will leave you feeling polished all the time, even on days you don’t feel so glam. Try to go for a neutral-based color that isn’t so hard to keep up.
