How To Wear Shift Dresses
Shift dresses are back in a big way this season. The once 1960s retro mod chic staple has re-emerged as a summer necessity. Just add a pair of platforms, and you’ll instantly transport back to forty plus years ago. Want to upgrade your look to 2012? Cinch your waist with a solid black leather belt and add flat gladiator sandals. Simple. Easy to wear. Gorgeous. Check out these gorgeous shift dresses you’ll want to wear this season!

Fashion Friday- 4 Ways To Wear Denim
Denim is….casual, smart, sexy, fresh, comfortable, feminine, etc etc. A good pair of jeans is perhaps one of the most versatile items you’ll ever own because you can take almost any one pair of denim and instantly create different looks just by switching around tops, shoes, and accessories. Need a few examples? Check out four very different but equally stylish denim looks I created through Polyvore and let me know what you think.

An a-line skirt is one of the most universally flattering items you will ever own no matter what your figure or shape is. Most importantly, you can wear it with everything from sparkly camisoles to crisp oxford blouses to preppy cardigans Here are four of my favorite styles and how you can wear them.
4- Kate Spade New York Fallon Skirt $325.00 at Zappos

2- Trina Turk Pleated A-Line Skirt, $68.49 at Lord & Taylor

Shoe Love: Wedge Sandals
My favorite shoes for the summer are wedge sandals! A chic wedged heel looks terrific with everything including long flowy sundresses, crisp khaki shorts, jeans, denim skirts, button-front dresses, and rompers. And this season, wedge fans are in luck thanks to the unlimited style options like cork wedges, espadrilles, strappy styles, thong sandals, slingbacks, and more. Once you see the fabulous wedge sandals I’m listing below, you will rush to make room in your closet. I j’adore the following…..

May’s Hot List
Summer doesn’t officially start until June 22, but it seems that most of us feel the heat in early May. This month we’re preparing for Memorial Day cookouts, summer trips to the beach, and any extra days we can squeeze in for a little fun in the sun. Here is a small list of what you should buy this month!
<p>left to right:Plunge Halter Top, $24.50; Glam Bikini Bottom, $24.50; Backless One Piece, $39.50; Floaty Tankini Top, $24.50; and Shirred Bikini Bottom, $24.50. Everything is available at American Eagle Outfitters
1- The Classic Black Swimsuit
It could be a one-piece, tankini, or bikini. A simple black swimsuit flatters all figures and it goes with all your colorful beach accessories! Of course its still important to remember that not all swimsuits were created equal and that its a good idea to keep the following tips in mind.

Too Faced Poolside Primping Collection $42.00 at Beauty.com
2- Beach Bunny Beauty
Everything you need to get sexy this summer is in the Too Faced Poolside Primping Collection. This kit includes Lashgasm Mascara, Glamour Gloss, Perfect Nude Lip Liner, Primed Poreless Primer, Sun Bunny Perfect Lips Gloss, and brown/pink striped makeup case. Stuff this case inside your purse or beach tote for touch ups on the the go!
MICHAEL Michael Kors Open Toe Jelly Flats, $69.00 at Zappos
3- Jelly Shoes
These hot shoes are back this season and this time they look different from the plastic flats that looked a lot like the one we wore 20 years ago. There are lots of terrific jelly shoe styles this season, but my favorite pair is the MICHAEL Michael Kors Open Toe Jelly Flats. These shiny plastic shoes feature a sexy open toe and a MK medallion on the vamp.
Rachel Pally Long Sleeveless Caftan Dress $295.00 at Stylefly, Geo Border Top $17.80 at Forever 21, and Wear-to-Work Printed Romper, $109.00 at Bebe.
4- Bold Graphic Printed Pieces
Floral prints have been replaced by funky graphic prints. These fun prints look great on blouses, dresses, rompers, and accessories, but this doesn’t mean that you should go crazy with this look. I suggest that you purchase at least two graphic printed items like a top that goes with everything and a dress thats reserved for casual parties.
What’s on your must-have list this month and why? Feel free to comment!
Getting Fresh With Marc Jacobs
One of my most favorite designer fragrances is Marc Jacobs Daisy. What can I say? I am a sucker for equisitely femme fragrances with notes of violet, strawberry, gardenia, ruby red grapefruit, musk, jasmine, white woods, and of course daisy! But his latest fragrance for her, Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh, takes those simple floral notes and intensifies it. This fragrance is like a symphony of raspberry, violet, wild rose, plum, cedarwood, grapefruit, pear, and apple blossom. Even the bottle was given a fresh makeover with a slimmer bottle and a cap that was cover with colorful daisies.
This fragrance is perfect for: lazy summer weekends and romantic nights frolicking about the town.
You can purchase Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh at Sephora for $70.00 and Marc Jacobs Daisy for $60.00
Cheap Tees Are Chic
The cheapest way to expand your wardrobe is also the most fun! They also come in so many different styles: long sleeves, short sleeves, camisoles, graphic print, solid colors, v-necks, scooped necks…the list goes on. Here is a small sampling of both classic and fun tees.
Slub Jersey Off-Shoulder Dolman Top from Michael Stars, $54.00; Splendid Citrus Jersey Pocket Racerback Tank from Bluefly, $23.99; Animal Tie-Dye Stripe Tee from C&C California, $29.90.
Tokio Hotel Staring Tee from Hot Topic, $20.00; That’s Quacktastic T-Shirt from Snorgtees, $19.95; Cat Person Tee from Busted Tees $20.00
